Here at Harbour Sports we make a point of being available so you can go fishing when you want to.

We make ourselves and our supplies available whenever possible so if you need bait to fish outside our standard hours contact us beforehand and we will try our best to suit your needs.

We supply fresh and frozen bait, depending what is in season. The fresh bait is from local sources which includes lug, rag and live peelers and excellent prices.
We obviously sell all the standard frozen baits, squid, mackerel, razor, sand eels, etc.

We also have any tackle requirements you may want with ready made rigs, weights, line, etc.

We can also supply you with any local knowledge of what is being caught where and how certain marks have been fishing recently.

For those who fish the Pier and Harbour wall we couldn't be better situated with shop actually being on the Promenade itself, within casting distance of the Pier, almost.

Porthcawl is well known as a fishing venue with species such as various rays, conger eels, bull huss, bass, smooth hounds, mullet, pouting, rockling, pollack, cod, whiting, etc.

We do require a minimum order of £10 if you want us to make ourselves available outside standard hours.

Please don't ask for us to come out at 11pm for a quid's worth of rag.
